Nadoe (Tørnadøe) is a composer and multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam.
They explores the concept of boundaries and thresholds as well as the liminal spaces where perception begins to shift and dynamic emerge. Through immersive and tactile compositions, they reveal hidden infrastructures and overlooked forms of communication, inviting audiences into resonant states of awareness. Sonic narrative lies at the core of their work, emerging from collected (hi) stories and speculative thought that evoke alternative realities and imaginary scenes tied to specific spaces.
Nadoe seek and adapt alternative modes of storytelling, creating moments where different art language meet, collide, harmonise, or slip past one another. They are drawn to processes that deterritorialise familiar landscapes, inviting audiences to engage with spaces, archives, and environments that often remain unnoticed. Their work moves fluidly between fiction and reality, perception and sensation, using sound as a tool to expand the boundaries of listening and awareness.

Their recent works have been presented at De Thomas Kerk (Amsterdam), Rewire Festival at West Den Haag (Den Haag), Jedna Dva Tři Gallery (Prague), It’s Not That Far at Het HEM (Zaandam), The Grey Space in the Middle (Den Haag), Seoul Mediacity pre-Biennale at SeMA (Seoul), Come Hell and High Water at Mutter (Amsterdam), Art Nou Festival at Espronceda Institute of Art & Culture (Barcelona).
