Yann Bacc and Nadoe delve into the intricate connections and interactions between the physical and virtual worlds through their innovative audiovisual performance utilizing virtual reality. Nadoe collects, transforms, and recombines ubiquitous sounds from their surroundings, improvising with these auditory elements. Simultaneously, Yann Bacc performs facial expressions in sync with the sounds. Metahumans are projected on the screen, mirroring Yann Bacc’s live facial expressions, creating a dynamic and engaging visual experience.

This artistic collaboration not only showcases the blending of physical and virtual realms but also prompts deeper contemplation on the ways in which individuals and identities are categorized. By merging these elements, the artists challenge conventional boundaries and invite the audience to reconsider the distinctions between different aspects of reality. This thought-provoking performance encourages viewers to reflect on the fluidity of identity and the evolving nature of our interconnected world.
